Football season is back, and with sports betting being legal, more people than ever want to spend some money on games. While the easiest and fastest way to bet in 2023 is through an app like FanDuel, DraftKings, Fanatics, etc., there’s no better feeling in betting than walking up to the cashier to collect your cash after your bet hits. If you’re seeking that sensation instead of betting on your phone, there are local places in Cleveland that are perfect for placing bets and watching sports. Here are the traditional sportsbook spots around Cleveland.

The Jack Casino in Downtown Cleveland & Jack Thistledown in North Randall

To no surprise, the most traditional sportsbook in Cleveland can be found at The Jack Casino. The sportsbook opens at 11 A.M. on weekdays and 9 A.M. on weekends, closing at 1 A.M. every night. The Jack Thistledown sportsbook, on the other hand, operates from noon to midnight on Mondays through Fridays, and they are open from 10 A.M. to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

Caesars Sportsbook at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse

Opened right at the start of the new year with the legalization of sports gambling in Ohio, Caesars Sportsbook provides an excellent place to watch and bet on sports inside an NBA arena. The operating hours are separate from events at the arena, and the sportsbook can be accessed regardless of what’s happening inside.

From Monday through Friday, they open at 10 A.M. and close at midnight. On Saturdays, they open earlier at 9 A.M. and stay open until 1 A.M., while on Sundays, they are open from 9 A.M. to midnight. On event days, the sportsbook can be accessed from the outside on Ontario St. or from inside the atrium once it’s opened and your tickets are scanned. If you wish to reenter the event after visiting the sportsbook, you can obtain a wristband prior to entering the sportsbook.

Fanatics Sportsbook at Progressive Field

On August 18th, the Fanatics Sportsbook at Progressive Field was officially opened to the public. It is located outside the Right Field District Gate at the corner of Larry Doby Way and East 9th Street, making it the newest in-stadium option for fans looking to place bets in person. On weekdays, the sportsbook will be open from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M., and on weekends, they will operate from 11 A.M. to 9 P.M. On game days, they will open two hours prior to the first pitch and remain open throughout the entire game.
