Kiss’ never-ending “End of the Road Tour” had a long-standing plan to conclude in New York City, with a “final concert” initially scheduled for July 17, 2021. Paul Stanley, addressing the audience on the Kiss Kruise in 2019, said, “We’ve been on the End of the Road tour, and people have asked, ‘When is the last show?’ So, we’re here to announce that the journey reaches its end on July 17, 2021, in New York City.” However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band had to postpone a significant portion of their “farewell” tour, including that ultimate performance.
Stanley had previously explained, “We can’t continue lugging around 40 pounds of gear for much longer. There’s nothing melancholic about it. It’s a celebration with our fans worldwide. Our goal was to set a new standard for what a live band can achieve. That’s always been our mission: to be the band we never had the chance to see. Many shows out there carry the DNA of Kiss because there weren’t shows of such magnitude before us.”
The iconic British psychedelic pop legends, The Zombies, who were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, have made their triumphant return with the highly anticipated album “Different Game” (2023 – Cooking Vinyl Records).
