Friday, October 27th

Cavaliers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse

The Cavaliers are set to take the court in their inaugural regular season home game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Their opponent for the evening is the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team that hasn’t been performing at its best, giving us high hopes for a Cavaliers victory. Additionally, the Cavs have a matchup against the Indiana Pacers scheduled for Saturday night at 7:30.


Spooky Days: Mapleside Farms

Family-friendly weekend and banish any thoughts of Spooky Days haunting you! Kids are encouraged to don their costumes and fully immerse themselves in the enchanting Pumpkin Village.

Be sure to catch the Pig Races presented by the hilarious comedic crew from MSPN (Mapleside Sports Network) providing lively play-by-play commentary. Witness the entertaining antics of the Goats at the Billy Goat Bluff and discover even more delightful surprises!

Dracula the Bloody Truth – Great Lakes Theater

Professor Van Helsing embarks on a quest to unveil the “true” tale of the fearsome legend known as Dracula. Assisted by a trio of lively actors who skillfully portray a whopping forty characters, this high-octane reimagining transports you from the eerie Transylvanian landscape to the picturesque shores of England. Tricks & Treats: Crocker Park

Attention, ghosts and ghouls, royalty, and superheroes! Come and be a part of our fantastic Halloween extravaganza, Tricks & Treats, brought to you by Sylvan Learning of Westlake and generously supported by St. Edward High School.

This event promises an array of exciting activities for the little ones, including delectable treats to satisfy their cravings, local vendors showcasing their wares, and, most notably, a thrilling Trick or Treat experience at various stores (while supplies last). Spend a delightful afternoon of entertainment with your children, and be sure to explore the many shops and restaurants on the premises as you stroll around!


Halloween Costume Contest: Chagrin Falls

Prepare for a delightfully eerie afternoon of entertainment! Embark on a spirited journey through the various bars and restaurants in Chagrin Falls, where you can savor the unique menu offerings at each establishment. Take pleasure in a choice between seasonal beers, wines, or spine-tingling cocktails at every stop. As an added thrill, all ticket holders stand a chance to claim the $250 Grand Prize for the Best Halloween Costume.

The adventure begins at Pub Frato for check-in. When you arrive, we’ll snap a photo to share with everyone. The teams from all participating venues and Taste CLE will determine the winner and announce it on the event page.

All of this excitement is yours for just $30, which includes eight drinks, a passport, exclusive specials, and access to the costume contest. Be aware that the price will increase on the day of the event, so start preparing your costumes now!


IX Trick or Treat Street – IX Center

Little ghosts and goblins will make their way through creatively themed “not-so-spooky” Halloween houses in a safe, climate-controlled environment. But wait, there‚Äôs more than just candy! Surrounded by fall foliage including pumpkins and larger-than-life decorations, trick-or-treaters will enjoy kiddie rides and live entertainment scheduled throughout the day.


Sunday, October 29th

Pod Save America – Playhouse Square

Politicians, journalists, comedians, and activists will join former Obama administration officials and co-hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Tommy Vietor, and Dan Pfeiffer to break down the political news of the week at this event that takes place at 7 tonight at the Mimi Ohio Theatre.

Halloween Brunch – StoneWater Highland Heights

StoneWater in Highland Heights is hosting a spine-tingling Halloween Brunch on Sunday, October 29th. Get ready for a brunch that’s both delicious and terrifying, with spine-chilling cocktails for the grown-ups and Halloween-themed crafts for the little ones. Bring your loved ones and kick off the holiday season in style. Don your Halloween costumes and be part of the spookiest brunch in town.

Reservations are a must, with seating available from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each seating lasts for 90 minutes, and the brunch is a buffet-style feast. Here’s the pricing breakdown: Adults $26 per person, Kids $16 per person, and Kids under 3 get in for free (plus tax and a 20% gratuity; beverages not included).

Whitney Neidus, the General Manager at StoneWater, said, “The brunch is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit. It’s a blast for all ages and a wonderful way to spend your Sunday afternoon.”

But the fun doesn’t stop there. There’s a craft corner for the kids, where they can create spooky spider webs using popsicles and string. This craft station, complete with all necessary materials and instructions, is included in the brunch price.
