Colin Quinn – Pickwick and Frolic

In his latest comedic endeavor, Colin humorously delves into his one true talent: Personality. With a lifetime of engaging conversations with friends, family, municipal employees, and counter people, Mr. Quinn has honed his skills and now offers to teach you how to avoid draining the energy from any room. Colin Quinn, a stand-up comedian hailing from Brooklyn (or more specifically, Park Slope), has somehow become an integral part of your life, despite never requesting his presence. From his early days on MTV’s “Remote Control” to his time on SNL and Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,” Mr. Quinn has persistently refused to take a hint and gracefully step aside. He has graced Broadway with performances in “Colin Quinn: An Irish Wake” and “Colin Quinn: Long Story Short,” as well as Off-Broadway with “Colin Quinn: Unconstitutional,” “Colin Quinn: The New York Story” (directed by Jerry Seinfeld), “Colin Quinn: Red State, Blue State,” and his most recent work, “Colin Quinn: The Last Best Hope.” Notable recent credits include appearances in “Trainwreck,” “Girls,” and his web series “Cop Show,” currently available for streaming on Colin’s YouTube channel. His latest book, “Overstated: A Coast-to-Coast Roast of the 50 States,” has been published by Macmillan.

This year, we are featuring a special class dedicated to AIR-COOLED automobiles, which are vehicles cooled by air instead of coolant fluid. The earliest examples of this type were the Franklins. You can admire three Franklins from different years (1905, 1928, 1931), as well as a Goggomobil, an Isetta, Corvairs, VW Beetles, VW vans, and Porsches. To learn more about air-cooled autos, click here. Additionally, we are introducing a new display of antique boats, along with the popular production motorcycles manufactured before 1985.

The Inner Circle, located in front of the Manor House, will showcase luxury Full Classics® cars produced between 1935 and 1939. This exclusive collection includes renowned brands such as Lincolns, Cords, and Packards.

To secure your spot, we highly recommend purchasing tickets online as this show sold out last year. Ticket prices for Stan Hywet members are $12 for adults (18+) and $6 for youth (ages 3-17), while children aged 2 and under enter for free. Non-members can purchase tickets at $16 for adults (18+) and $8 for youth (ages 3-17), with children aged 2 and under also receiving free admission.

Guest parking is conveniently located off-site, and we provide free shuttle service to and from the following parking lots: Firestone CLC and Litchfield CLC at 470 Castle Boulevard, as well as Todaro’s at 1820 Akron Peninsula Road.

For guests with valid state hangtags or license plates, a limited number of accessible parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Stan Hywet Main Lot.

Take a break from exploring the stunning vehicles and indulge in a variety of delicious food options available for purchase. Treat yourself to burgers, sausages, hot dogs, and more at Winking Lizard. Alternatively, the River Dog Cafe Food Truck offers waffle pizza and cheese curds, while Molly’s Cafe serves sandwiches, salads, chili, and other delightful options.
