Browns Report 1/10 – Playoff Game Injury Updates

Injuries Leading Up To The Wild Card Playoff Game Against the Texans

1 – Hopkins Update 

The media asked Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski about K Dustin Hopkins’ status for Saturday, and Stefanski said it is “unlikely” that he will be playing.  Unless something drastically changes, it will be Riley Patteson at kicker.

2 – Running Back

The one concerning position group is running back.  Cleveland’s two backs, Kareem Hunt (groin) and Pierre Strong (back), are on the DNP list.  Jerome Ford is the one healthy running back on the roster currently.

Wide receiver is another position of concern, but it does sound like Amari Cooper will play even though he did not practice, and Marquise Goodwin’s (knee) was limited.  Cedric Tillman is still in concussion protocol. 

3 – DNP

The remaining Cleveland DNPs with no injury-related rest are the CB Greg Newsome II (knee) and FS Juan Thornhill (calf).
