Browns Report 11/1 – Injury Updates and Player/Coach’s Comments

1 – Day-to-day

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski was asked about the latest with QB Deshaun Watson, as Watson did practice but was limited.

“Yeah, as you can imagine, I always just kind of keep it day-to-day, and we’ll focus on today. He’ll be out there, and we’ll see how he does,” Stefanski said.

So, back to the good ole day-to-day watch with Watson. Sweet Jesus.

2 – Walker

If Watson is unable to go, Stefanski did confirm it will be PJ Walker starting.

3 – Injury report

The injury report is extended with 18 players on the Browns injury report.  Here’s the group of DNP players without rest:  WR David Bell, OT Dawand Jones, CB Greg Newsome II, TE David Njoku, OT Jedrick Wills, and DE Alex Wright.

Stefanski was asked about any long-term concern with Newsome and Jones’s injury, and he said, “We’ll see. I think this week we’ll see over the next couple of days how they respond.”

The Jones injury is one in particular to watch, as the Browns are starting to get thin on the offensive line with multiple players battling injuries.
