It was not a good feeling seeing our hero, QB Joe Flacco, listed as limited practice on Thursday with a calf strain. But Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt does not seem concerned, “I don’t see that as a big issue.” Fingers crossed.
As of Thursday, the Browns got mixed news on the injury front. On the positive end, Denzel Ward, who played on Sunday against the Bears, is practicing fully for the first time in over a month. Ethan Pocic is back practicing this week on a limited week.
On the other side of things, Joel Bitonio is not practicing, and Anthony Walker was a no-go on Thursday as well.
The following players practiced on a limited basis but should be a go on Sunday: Geron Christian, Kareem Hunt, David Njoku, and Wyatt Teller.
Texans QB and former Buckeye QB CJ Stroud is still in concussion protocol and looks like a no-go for Sunday. It will be former Browns QB Case Keenum starting in replace of Stroud.
