November 1, 2023

This Month 7 Road Games and 8 Home Games

November kicks off the NBA’s inaugural in-season tournament with Group Play. The Cavaliers have home games against Detroit and Atlanta and away games against Philadelphia and Indiana. Depending on the Sixers’ performance, especially considering the trade of James Harden, the Cavs might have a good chance of achieving a 3-1 or even a 4-0 record in these matchups. Notable games in the November schedule include an away game against the Knicks right after Halloween, hosting the experienced but still formidable Golden State Warriors, welcoming the reigning World Champion Denver Nuggets to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and, of course, facing LeBron James and the Lakers over the Thanksgiving weekend. Additionally, the Cavs will hit the road for a Western trip to take on playoff-caliber teams like the Kings and Warriors.

In November, the Cavs will face a challenging schedule, with 11 out of their 15 games being against playoff teams from the previous season. They’ll also have two back-to-back games against Miami and Toronto, which could pose potential challenges. This month promises to be a valuable learning experience for the team.
