3 Things Preview For Tonight’s Game:

1 – Logan Allen 

Southpaw Logan Allen will take the baseball in game number two for the Guardians in 2024.  Allen went 7-8 with a 3.81 ERA and 119 strikeouts in 2023. 

2 – JRAM two-hole

Guardians manager Stephan Vogt discussed having José Ramírez bat second in the lineup when Cleveland faces a left-handed pitcher on the Guardians pregame radio show. JRAM batted second in the opener against lefty Alex Wood, going 1 for 5 with an RBI triple.  

3 – Heavy Rain

There’s a 100% chance of rain in the Oakland area on Friday, so don’t be surprised if the Guardians have an early doubleheader in the 2024 season (this is Cleveland’s only trip to Oakland).
