Browns Report 10/25 – Injury Updates and Player/Coach’s Comments

1 – PJ Walker to start

On Wednesday, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski announced that it will be PJ Walker starting at quarterback, with Deshaun Watson sitting out against Seattle.  “Deshaun’s going to focus on his rehab. I just feel like with what happened in the game, landing on his shoulder, there’s residual swelling that’s affecting his throwing. I think it’s the best thing for him to rest this week and focus on the rehab,” Stefanski said

2 – Browns Injury Report

The list was rather long on Wednesday for the Browns injury report, with 15 players on the injury report for the Browns.  The key players who did not practice and did not rest on Wednesday are Marquise Goodwin (back), Kareem Hunt (thigh), David Njoku (knee), Sione Takitaki (hamstring), and Alex Wright (concussion protocol). 

3 – Awards

Myles Garrett won AFC Defensive Player of the Week and Dustin Hopkins won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
