Buckeyes Face Missouri Tigers Tonight at 8 PM ESPN

1 – Harrison Jr

The big mystery that has yet to be revealed heading into this game is whether Marvin Harrison Jr. will play in the Cotton Bowl.  Emeka Egbuka will play on Friday, and Egbuka also revealed that he had arthroscopic surgery on his ankle after the Maryland game.

2 – Devin Brown

With Kyle McCord transferring to Syracuse, Devin Brown gets the spotlight to show what he can do against Missouri.  This will be Brown’s first-ever start.

3 – Motivation

At times during the lead-up to the Cotton Bowl, this game for Ohio State has felt more like an exhibition than a headliner bowl game against the Missouri Tigers.   It will be interesting to see how the Buckeyes come out for the game on Friday night.

Final Thoughts:

This game will feature Egbuka, but with the mystery of Harrison or TreVeyon Henderson playing, it feels like the offense is missing some charge heading into the game.  Along with McCord, the Buckeyes will be without Chip Trayanum and Evan Pryor, who are both transferring.

The defensive coordinator, Jim Knowles, has been answering questions about opportunities as a head coach compared to the game itself.  It just feels like Ohio State is not really into this game. could be wrong, and if they are up to the challenge, they should beat Missouri.

Missouri wins 31-17 – give the points to the Tigers.
